Taking off to Melaka over this weekend for my grandma’s birthday. Really looking forward to catching up with my cousins and catching up with God too.
This trip is a good personal retreat to sort some of my thoughts out and to regain His power in me. Need a re-charge. Please pray for me, I need a still heart. Thx!
I opened the letter box and received a pleasant surprise which I believe most of you had.
What was it?? The GST offset package.
This couldn’t have come at a better time to offset some bills. Ha ha…
It is really a “God-Sent-Token” offset package =p
Breakthrough campaign is coming to a closure soon at the end of this month. Latest I heard was we were down to the last $60K.
Let’s await for the good news in 3 days time!
But while waiting for the outcome, enjoy this is the pirated version of the Breakthrough clip that was shown during one of the services. Oops… =p
A great and hilarious clip put together that brought us through the journey that God has led us to Nexus!
Be patient as it might take awhile to load.
Do make a guess who was the voice-over in the clip. Hee hee…
I received this sms a couple days back.
“Hi hi, hehe, XXXXX just called me after I msged her. She said she sold off her Sunday slots (work duty) realising she’s drifted far. And she will come to church this Sunday”
Wow… it is people’s response to Him like this one that truly encourages me to press on in serving our wonderful Father and in finishing the race ahead.
I was compiling a list of things that I labelled as Dreams which I hope to achieve in my life-time.

They are:
Yes! I am back from my ‘hiatus’ with the Singapore Acting (wayang) Force (SAF)… Ho ho ho…

Overall, reservist was a good therapy away from urban living and getting detached from technology especially blogging. Ha ha…
And it allowed me to have a good rest and served many opportunities to know my camp mates better.
Now in my 10th year since I ORD-ed (operational release date) from my active NS days, I did a quick observation on some of the things that remained unchanged like…
They are things like:
However, I also had observed the things that has changed:

I’ve packed my barang-barang (stuff in Malay) and will be off for reservist for 2 weeks. So would not be able to blog… =(
Si Beh Sianz (Damn boring) with all this wayang (show)…. Ha ha ha
How can the gahmen expect men who are in their late 20’s or 30’s to take off from work and family commitments just like that??
Would the part-time soldier be able to focus on training or even combat battle with his core responsibilities looming over his mind??
And worse, we are not even fit from all the sitting behind the computer!
I say scrap reservist!!! It is in-effective… Who’s with me??? =p
I was scavanging thru my stuff and found this…

It was a booklet given out during Hope Church 13th Anniversary. Kingdom 2008 was launched in 2004, some 3 years ago…
Wow… can’t believe we are now in 2007 and arriving towards our goal as a church in focusing on:
Time really flies…
MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!!!
REJOICE!
May the Good News of knowing that Jesus Christ was born for us be a reality in your life.
He is here to save us from our sins and to give us hope of a life of victory and freedom. AMEN.
