I had received a text message that sent me reeling. It was from my secondary school mate who informed me about the demise of his younger brother.
I was shocked when I was told he had committed suicide. Apparently, he had plunged to his death from his flat.
Gosh… He was only 29 years of age!?
Though I wasn’t close to his brother, I regretted that I could not be that friend he would have thought of in his time of need.
I strongly believe that he needed someone who could listen and understand him. And more importantly, to show him that there was HOPE in his situation.
It’s really saddening to see a life gone just like that.
So folks, please remember that there’s always HOPE in God! No matter how grave your mess may be, hand it over to our Almighty God.
I guarantee with my life that He can turn all things around THAT’S IF you are willing to trust Him whole-heartedly and follow His instructions step by step.
Jack told me last sunday about a quote in Slam Dunk “Once you give up your hope, you already lose – not need to wait upon the match finish”
Same thing apply, once you give up your hope in your life, you already died – not need to wait until your heart stop pumping.
In your life, your battle is not against flesh, not against unpure spirits.
For me, I am on the look-up on unpure spirit as well as poison friend, that will destroy my life.
I will not hestite to end any friendship that poison my life, my spirital life. For it better for them to destroy themselves, then to bring myself to downgrade with them.
For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. Ecc9.
