Labour Day@The Istana

Labour Day was a holiday but it was still a day of labouring in the Lord =)

Again, I did another first as a Singaporean. I visited the Istana where Mr President lived, work and play.

Unfortunately, he wasn’t there. He ‘put our aeroplane’. Think better not give increment since never do OT. Ha ha…

Entry was free for Singaporeans and PR citizens. But foreigners had to pay $1.

Walking in was a long way sia… Reminded me of the treetop walk… CMI.

Our President sure has a good life. His garden is a golf course leh…

We had to walk about 15 minutes before arriving at his door step and had to pay ‘ERP’ $2 to tour inside.

Sorry no photos were allowed to be taken in there, but I must add that it was a boring walk and cannot see much but the function rooms. Even the toilet was out of bounds.

Hmmm… I wonder what couldn’t be shown in that toilet… A gold tap? =p

Overall, it was a okay time lar… Public education session on the life of the President. Ho ho…

And here’s (below) a funny shot!
