Twenty-five-year-old John Pritzlaff is among hundreds of Americans who responded to The Blasphemy Challenge — daring atheists to upload into YouTube “a short message damning yourself to Hell” in exchange for a DVD.
The challenge, launched by a United States-based atheist group known as the Rational Response Squad last year, targets teenagers to renounce religion.
In the US, some atheists are becoming increasingly visible and outspoken about their beliefs: That faith in God is irrational, that it should be replaced by pure scientific reasoning and that religion is a destructive force. They are making their views heard not only via blogs, TV interviews or public debates, but also with the help of books that have penetrated bestseller lists.
Two of the hottest books in the category are The God Delusion by evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins and God is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything by journalist Christopher Hitchens.

Reminded me of the time i posted a few athetist articles on my blog. I had like a panel of atheist people responding and tried to rebuttal my arguement.
Its kind of sad coz their rebuttal is actually very shallow covered with very bombastic words. Oh well… The biggest thing that stands against them is not their logic, but their pride to admit their flawed logic.
From my observation, most of these athetist have some sort of bad experience stemmed from religion. Hence their adverse views towards religion. E.g. The Crusade, Holy War etc…

I guess God has always been the victim of being misunderstood and hurted because of man’s wrong representation of Him in this world.
God never fails and is perfect, but man fails, falls and sins.
We can only pray that we carry out our little part by being His ambassadors in our sphere of influence and change the world a little by a little.
We also got to get ready (knowing our apologetics) for what’s happening in the US to sweep across Asia and unto our Singapore shores. Cos whatever happens there will have a ripple effect on us.
Just to let you know i have a blogsite against the blasphemy challenge.
It reminds me of the testimony shared yesterday by the sister from Hope LA about Americans need God more than anyone else in the world rite now. It really confirm to be very true, especially after reading this article.
So what’s the moral of the story. Bro, go church plant there. :))).
You can send Andrew Liew over there who wants to study Masters there..
buy him last week’s sermon CD..
